Marlene was an expert in makeup and developed 'facial contouring'

I have selected these classic mostly sepia Hollywood photos for their sheer beauty and glamour. Early Hollywood movie magazines often had a sepia section of full page pin-ups that were very well printed and often simply breathtaking. Hollywood portraiture was a true art, and most stars had favorite photographers they liked to use that they either felt comfortable with, or who managed to capture that 'certain something'.  Collecting movie ephemera has long been a passion of mine, and I particularly love vintage movie magazines because they captured a moment in time that was meant to make us dream.
