Its hard to believe its 50 years ago today that we lost Marilyn Monroe. She has affected all our lives across those decades, looking out at us from magazine covers, movie posters and shop windows. In fact she has never left us or gone away. If she hadn't been real, we would've made her up. And in centuries to come they will question whether she was a real person, or a myth like Camelot, Atlantis and the Goddess Diana. RIP sweet angel.
